Upon leaving my career as an ER nurse, I realized I needed something to fill my days. Always being creative, I wanted instructions to develop my painting ability. Jay Davenport’s painting was just the style I was interested in pursuing, hyperrealism. So I enrolled in his classes and after 6 years, I still study at his studio. I also studied some time at the Ani Art Academy in Wilkes Barre. My favorite medium is oil paint but I enjoy charcoal and pastel
To me, the world around us is a painting, always searching for something that speaks to me. Locally I’ve received awards from the Palmerton Concourse Club, Carbon County Art League and the Palmerton library show. My work can be viewed on Instagram.
